Youth Summer of Service 2025

Dearest friends of the Southeastern Region, 

Over the last three years, our region has gained invaluable experience in creating a pattern of youth campaigns, strengthening the movement of youth through the main sequence of courses established by the Ruhi Institute. Over the last two years, we have been able to generate experience around offering a Summer of Service program for youth that has greatly impacted the expansion of both the program for the spiritual education of children and the junior youth spiritual empowerment program in the South DeKalb neighborhood. 

This year, our region has set ambitious goals across several clusters. The Summer of Service is envisioned to be instrumental in reaching these goals, drawing us closer to attaining the objectives set forth in the Nine Year Plan. To assist these clusters, we need at least 18 youth to fully commit to the seven weeks of Summer of Service. We eagerly invite youth and their families to consider participating in this service opportunity.

Summer of Service will take place June 6th – July 24th. Youth will begin with participation in the regional summer youth camp, then serve as teachers and animators throughout the summer. During that time, they will engage many other youth in conversations and invite them to a regional youth conference taking place July 11th–13th.  If you would like to learn more about Summer of Service and explore participation, please complete this form.
